(Please note: the comic may take a couple of seconds to load!)

This is an example comic I would use in my French class. I would get students to use this program to make their own comics about particular situations they might find themselves in, eg. in a restaurant. They would need to fill in the speech bubbles with appropriate French language. After this, students could act out their dialogue in front of the class. Dialogues are something that is commonly covered in LOTE classes, however using this program makes the process more interactive and interesting for students.

In order to prevent time-wasting, it would be good if the teacher set up a template in the setting (eg. In the restaurant) and the students could fill in the speech bubbles and alter it to make it a bit more personalised.

This activity is appropriate for lower-secondary classes.
